Routes // CALP

First 40 km with no relevant difficulties and just some minor climbs. The first ascent comes before arriving to the town of Pego. Here we have one of our favourite climbs; “Port de la Vall d’Ebo”; nearly 8 km stretch with perfect tarmac and amazing views overlooking the Mediterranean coast. A must-ride in the region.
We will continue with a nice descend that will bring us to the town of Ebo where we will be heading towards “Pla de Petracos”. We will enter a nice valley with an easy climb in the first km. After this short hill, we well start a long descend of 20 km towards the town of Xaló.
Right after crossing Xaló (km 75), we will be attacking the second climb of the circuit; Bernia.
❚ Km 40 ⇝ 48 ❚ 8 km climb with an average gradient of 5,8%, being the steepest of 9%. Stunning views, perfect tarmac followed by a nice descend. Sounds good, right?
❚ 77 Km ⇝ 89 ❚ Beutiful 12 km climb connecting the towns of Xaló and Benissa. Twisting rural road with a 3.5% average incline with some sections with gradients going up to 10%.
Traffic rather calm, specially between the towns of Ebo and Tàrbena. You should expect more traffic between the towns of Calp and Benissa.
The quality of the road is very good through the whole circuit.

We love our region and we are always willing to share our favorites spots. Enjoy the ride!
