1. Briefing

We will be heading towards Altea, once we leave the town we will start gaining altitude; we will face a first climb to Castell de Guadalest. More than 10 km climb with no difficulty.

Before reaching the town of Castell de Guadalest (km 73), we will descend to the beautiful reservoir. We will then face a final climb that will bring us back to the village of Castell de Guadalest.

2. climbs

There are no relevant climbs along the circuit. However, expect some hard sections between km 35 and 40.

3. TRAFFIC

Expect heavy traffic the first kilometers as we ride along the national road. We will have less dense traffic once we cross the town of Callosa d’en Sarria.

On our way back to Altea, we will be biking through the national road between Calp and Altea. Expect some heavy traffic and some dangerous points (unfortunately, there is no alternative road).

4. ROAD QUALITY

The quality of the road is very good through the whole track.
