1. Briefing
Easy first Kilometers until we reach the town of Sagra at km 16, where we will be facing a minor climb. We will be cycling across calm roads that will bring us to the valley of “la Gallinera” (Vall de la Gallinera).
The only difficult climb will come right before the town of Benissavà (km 37). We will leave the main road and turn left to a rural road that will bring us all the way up to “El Mirador del Xap”.
After these challenging climbs we will be descending through very nice roads to the village of Ebo, where we will face a the last climb of the circuit.
2. climbs
❚ Km 38 ⇝ 41 ❚ Quite challenging climb with a total of 3.4 km and a 9.7% average gradient. The steepest sections will come at the beginning with some sections at 18%. We should keep some forces for the final part where we will finish the climb with a short stretch of 20%.
❚ Km 51 ⇝ 54 ❚ Short 3 km climb with no difficulties. This hill is often climbed from the opposite side, starting near the village of Pego. Enjoy the descend because the views are stunning.
3. TRAFFIC
Once we cross the town of Ondara at km 8 roads will be calmer. Taffic is very low in the rural roads we will be cycling. Expect some traffic once we cross Pedreger (after 80km).
4. ROAD QUALITY
The quality of the road is very good through the whole track.
