1. Briefing
We will start cycling through some minor climbs in the first kilometers.
The first climb (Bernia) will kick off after crossing the village of Benissa (Km 15). Long and easy ascent, with beautiful landscape and very little traffic followed by a long descend to the village of Xaló.
On the way back to Xàbia we will go through the last short climb after the town of Lliber (km 55) that will bring us to the town of Gata de Gorgos.
2. climbs
❚ Km 19 ⇝ 33 ❚ 15km meandering rural road with some easy first kilometers but with some sections that will go up to 9%. Beautiful views of Bernia, with limited traffic. The most challenging part comes in the last stretch with gradients up to 17%.
3. TRAFFIC
We might face traffic during the last 8 km. The whole climb to Bernia is very calm and there is not much cars around.
4. ROAD QUALITY
Only in the first kilometers as we ride across the rural road the tarmac might not be in perfect conditions, also in some parts of the climb of Bernia.
