1. Briefing
First short climb after Gata de Gorgos (km 8), that will bring us to the town of Lliber. The most challenging hill of the circuit will be Coll de Rates.
The ascend will begin at km 23 right after Alcalalí. We will be climbing one of the most well-known climbs of the region with perfect road, excellent views, and a cyclist atmosphere.
We will descend through the same road and we will be heading back to Xàbia. We will come across some short climbs, ut with no remarkable difficulty.
2. climbs
One of the most popular hills of the region. 6 km climb with an average that doesn’t go beyond 6%. This is the shorter version of the climb, the longer starts on the opposite side of the hill, in the village of Callosa d’en Sarrià.
3. TRAFFIC
Expect some traffic in the first 8 km.
4. ROAD QUALITY
The quality of the road is very good through the whole track. Only on the last kilometers we can find some parts of the tarmac not in perfect conditions.
