1. Briefing
Beutiful circuit covers the full extension of Xàbia and will make you discover the nicest spots this beuteful spot. We will start strong; with the most challenging climb of the circuit in the first kilometers. The views are worth the effort. A nice descend will bring us back to the center and cycling alonfg the coast.
The second climb will bring us to “Cap de la Nau”, nice strach throught some rural roads and with nice views at the end of the climb.
2. climbs
Two main climbs and some hidden surprises along the circuit.
The first climb starting at km 3 is the most difficult one, short stretch with some sections up to 15%. There is not much traffic here except if you decide to ride in summer.
The second climb starts at km 15. Longer than the previous climb but much easier ;).
There are two stretches that are also quite challenging. The first one comes right after the second climb, at around km 22. It comes right after the viewpoint of “Cap de la Nau”. The second challenging stretch comes after a roundabout at around km 28, be ready because this unexpected stretch will definitely take you out of the saddle.
3. TRAFFIC
Expect some traffic in the first kilometers. We will have less dense traffic once we cross the town of Polop and start the first climb (km 8).
4. ROAD QUALITY
The quality of the road is very good throughout the whole track.
